Requirements
Must:
- Due to federal requirements, only U.S. citizens can be considered. Candidates with dual citizenship cannot be considered.
- An active security clearance is required.
- At least 15 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a related field.
- This is an on-site position at a government facility.
- Requires presence on-site five days per week in Annapolis Junction, MD.
- Candidates must reside within a commutable distance.
- Participation in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency page-outs is required.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the analysis of intricate business data, extracting profound insights and presenting strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- I will design and oversee the development of sophisticated business intelligence reports, dashboards, and visualizations using advanced tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
- I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine complex data requirements, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- I will spearhead the identification and establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and enhance business performance.
- I will mentor and guide junior analysts in data modeling, data cleansing, transformation, and advanced analytical techniques.
- I will conduct comprehensive data analysis, utilizing advanced statistical and predictive modeling to unearth trends and patterns for strategic decision-making.
- I will provide strategic input on the implementation and optimization of data warehousing, data marts, and other data storage solutions.
- I will design and build business intelligence reports, dashboards, and other deliverables.
- I should have experience leading teams and initiatives.
- I will stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.

At Maximus, we are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to provide expertise to a federal client in support of their mission-critical systems in defense of our homeland. As a key leader on our team, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing business processes. This position is an on-site role, requiring presence five days a week and a secret clearance.
