Requirements
Must:
- I require nine (9) years of experience as a Storage Architect or in related fields with programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is necessary; however, I will accept five (5) years of additional related experience in lieu of a degree.
- You should possess strong knowledge of a wide range of cloud services and solutions, such as AWS, OpenStack, Microsoft Azure products, and VMware (VSphere).
- It is crucial to have strong knowledge of Red Hat tools, including Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Red Hat Satellite, and Red Hat Image Builder.
- I expect you to be able to install, configure, administer, and monitor VMware, OpenStack, and AWS.
- An active mid-level or advanced cloud certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, OpenStack) is a requirement.
Responsibilities
- You will provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services hosted in multiple cloud environments.
- Your role will include Tier I/II and Tier 3 resolution of customer capacity requests, as well as providing support for escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers.
- You will offer connectivity and utilization support to customers in our managed cloud environment.
- Customers will depend on you for support through chat, email, and capacity request ticketing.
- You will be responsible for deploying new solutions into existing cloud resources or off-premise infrastructure.
Description
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certificate is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of Virtual Desktop deployment and configuration automation will be advantageous.
- I appreciate knowledge in writing, configuring, and deploying Ansible Playbooks.
- Strong skills in writing and implementing other scripting languages like Python and Bash scripting are highly valued.
- Expertise in managing and arranging Jira projects, backlogs, and sprints is preferred.
- Experience using Git commands (GitLab/GitHub) to manage, push, and pull projects along with implementing file version controls is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- You must have a current/active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- The individual in this position must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
- You should be able to occasionally move about inside the office to collaborate with other leaders or teams and use standard office automation equipment and virtual communication.
