Must:
- I require a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 6+ years. - You should be proficient in resolving technical problems and answering queries via telephone or self-service that involve computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. - Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, multiple desktop programs, and configuration and debugging techniques is essential. - Experience providing technical support for Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016 or later, multiple internet browsers, and standard business applications used in a business environment is necessary. - Familiarity with TCP/IP, general networking issues, virus scanning services (desktop, stand-alone, and laptop computing services), servers, printers, peripheral devices, and installing endpoints is important.

Responsibilities

- I will expect you to use ITIL-based processes to streamline the ingestion, triage, categorization, action, and resolution for incoming incidents, requests, and demands. - You will need to analyze, troubleshoot, design, and implement fixes. - Performing remote desktop triage and system repair using remote tools will be part of your duties. - Answering questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status, and downtime procedures will also be required. - Supporting all facets of installations, including the physical placement of desktop IT equipment such as printers, CAT5 and fiber optic cable, and network switches, will be essential. - Local travel may be required between customer buildings or temporary assignments to alternate locations in support of special projects. - You will be a member of a diverse team that provides coverage from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional late coverage until 8:00 p.m. when necessary.

Description

Preferred qualifications include related work experience in a technical help desk position, refreshing of IT equipment, providing deskside IT support, and installation of IT hardware, networks, VoIP phones, and/or audio/video equipment. I would appreciate it if you have Component Mission Administrator (CMA) Certification and special non-commercial systems administrator experience (access management/file transfer). Strong communication skills are important due to working with various groups, including co-workers, management, and customers. The ability to adapt to quickly changing tasks, requirements, and quickly learn new skills while on the job is essential. Additionally, you must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Please be prepared for physical requirements such as remaining in a stationary position at least 50% of the time, operating a computer and other office equipment for extended periods, and moving computer equipment weighing 50 pounds or more. This includes the capability to ascend/descend a ladder of 10+ feet while performing tasks.
