Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with a basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, preferably. You should have 3-5 years of related experience and a working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Knowledge of CERNER patient accounting and revenue cycle, as well as familiarity with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, payer regulations, ICD-10, CPT coding, and other healthcare compliance standards is essential. Experience with DRG (Diagnosis-Related Groups), APC (Ambulatory Payment Classification), and Value-Based Reimbursement models will be an asset.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Application Systems Analyst, you will primarily work independently with direction from your manager, while appropriately referring matters that require manager input. You will be responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and support of business, clinical, or financial applications deployed throughout our system. This includes following standard departmental processes, especially change control, and utilizing the issue/request tracking system. Additionally, you will need to exhibit customer service skills to provide ongoing telephone support for end users.
