Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 to 12 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 to 10 years of prior relevant experience. A Doctorate in a technical domain may also be considered. Experience may be taken into account in lieu of a degree.
- It is favorable if you have a Security+ or other IAT I certification.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage systems that support mission-critical applications and infrastructure.
- Manage storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS), and cloud-based storage solutions.
- Utilize strong expertise in data storage technologies, backup and recovery strategies, and performance optimization.
- Deploy and manage enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and object storage systems.
- Perform storage provisioning, capacity planning, and performance tuning to optimize efficiency.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery (DR), and data replication strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor storage infrastructure for performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and system failures.
- Collaborate with IT, cloud, and security teams to integrate storage solutions into enterprise architecture.
- Support cloud-based storage solutions (AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage) and hybrid environments.
- Implement security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
- Troubleshoot storage-related issues, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Automate storage management tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Maintain documentation of storage configurations, policies, and procedures.

We are currently seeking a skilled Storage Engineer to join our Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector and play a key role in supporting government-critical systems. This position is in anticipation of a future contract award, and you will be part of a program that oversees development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services. Your contributions will help monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise.
