Requirements

Must:
- 7+ years of overall related Configuration Management (CM) experience. - Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree. - Three (3) years of experience in configuration management within ISR/IO or C4ISR systems. Experience may be accumulated simultaneously. - Proficient in utilizing Git and DevOps tools for automation, reporting, and CM (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar). - Minimum of IAT II Certifications to meet DoD 8570.1M compliance. - Experience with CMPRO and Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project). - Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

- Perform software media management, DADMS verification, and analysis on GOTS/COTS software. - Carry out configuration management duties associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management. You will provide change management and product configuration management guidance. - Provide solutions based on system software requirements, working with the team to develop solutions to technical issues and updates that are required. - Define DCGS-N baselines and versioning; initiate and conduct studies examining upgrades and changes to the DCGS-N system; initiate and conduct Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) documenting needed changes to the system; and provide software support to the lifecycle activities required to sustain the system.

Description

We are actively seeking a Software Configuration Management (CM) specialist to support the Distributed Common Ground System, Navy (DCGS-N) Family of Systems, which includes DCGS-N INC 1 Block 2, DCGS-N INC 2, the DCGS-N Enterprise Node (DEN), the Joint Concentrator Architecture (JCA), and the Intelligence Carry On Program (ICOP), as well as systems in development. The successful applicant will join our Software Support Activity team to perform DCGS-N software management, licensing, and distribution for DCGS-N development and production-based systems. This position requires extensive software configuration management skills, along with the ability to follow detailed installation procedures. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work both directly and independently with Navy customers, team members, and program management are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience or training in a Linux, Windows PC, and Windows Server environment, along with a background in ISR or Distributed Common Ground Station. Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued.
