Requirements

Must:
- Must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required with 15 years of experience. Seven (7) years’ experience as a Signal Software Engineer (SSWE) or equivalent on a project with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF) is required, including experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools (e.g. WVT, DVT), and digital signal processing (e.g. adaptive beamforming/filtering, demodulation). Seven (7) years of additional SSWE or equivalent experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications. - Design, develop, and enhance software to add new features or improve existing functionality. - Debug and resolve defects in software systems. - Utilize signal processing techniques and digital modulation methods effectively. - Develop software using C++ and Java within Linux operating systems. - Integrate software into new or modified systems, ensuring seamless operation. - Lead or participate in the development and execution of test procedures for software components. - Write and review software and system documentation, providing recommendations to improve processes and standards. - Apply scientific analysis and mathematical models to design software solutions and predict outcomes.
