Requirements
Must:
We require a BS degree with 12 or more years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10 or more years of relevant experience. We will consider experience in lieu of a degree. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in system engineering or system administration. We expect proficiency in coordinating with Risk Management Framework (RMF) stakeholders, conducting vulnerability scanning, identifying security flaws, and continuously reviewing security bulletins. You should hold at least two certifications such as CISSP, Splunk, Network+, Security+, OSCP, Windows, Cisco, CEH, Juniper, or RHEL. Additionally, an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's information and systems from unauthorized access, use, and manipulation. Your duties will include managing and enforcing security strategies and policies, identifying system security requirements, designing security architecture, preparing standard operating procedures, troubleshooting security infrastructure, and developing technical solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities. You'll conduct security scans, review scan results, and provide support to information system security officers (ISSOs). You'll also be involved in investigating cyber security incidents and participating in data and root cause analysis for incidents impacting our services.
Description
This role operates within an Agile team, ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation. We aim to collaborate closely with the customer security organization, translating policies into operational procedures, leveraging the right tools in our DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline, and generating necessary documentation for security approval processes. Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), SEIM, and cloud computing technologies (such as AWS) is preferred. Familiarity with Agile software development and system health tools, as well as knowledge of potential attack vectors, will be advantageous in this role.
We anticipate this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days, with a pay range of $122,200.00 - $220,900.00, based on various factors including education, experience, and responsibilities.
