Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related engineering or science field, with 4–8 years of experience in this area.
- I have experience with Embedded Linux.
- I am proficient in C++ programming.
- I have demonstrated experience in Firmware/Hardware vulnerability assessments.
- I possess the ability to maintain a Final Secret Clearance or am eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- I am either a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.
Responsibilities
- I will interpret and understand complex engineering requirements and translate them into functional embedded systems engineering code.
- I will support the download of firmware from flash storage and assess it for vulnerabilities.
- I will develop software documentation and maintain version control for the developed firmware.
- I will work collaboratively with lead software engineers and managers to improve firmware reusability.
- I will develop both application and test software to ensure quality and functionality on target hardware.
- I will participate in design reviews for hardware and software and understand product schematics, layouts, and microcontroller architecture.
- I will propose areas for research and development regarding embedded systems or firmware vulnerability assessments and assist in developing related whitepapers.
