Requirements
Must:
- Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- IAT Level II Certification is required. Accepted professional IAT Level II certifications include RHCSA or higher Red Hat certification and/or VMware certification.
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in a large and complex IT environment providing recognized functional expertise, or a master’s degree with ten (10) years of experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the individual should have five (5) years of full-time computer science experience and at least ten (10) years in a large and complex IT environment providing recognized functional expertise. An industry-recognized professional certification may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
- Experience providing recognized functional expertise with the following skills:
- Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced troubleshooting of high-performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre.
- Advanced troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
- Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.
- Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced troubleshooting of distributed computing tools such as RES, LSF, and SLURM.
- Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced troubleshooting of RedHat and SUSE operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier IV HPC support to the HPC site.
Description
The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is looking for an experienced HPC Technical Expert/Functional Expert for a new customer on a strategic High-Performance Computing (HPC) program. We are seeking a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good judgment, and the ability to work within a team to enhance our customer’s HPC capabilities.
These positions will be onsite, and candidates need to be located near Annapolis, MD, or Saratoga Springs, UT, to be considered.
While subject to change based on our business needs, we anticipate that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days from the original posting date.
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $112,450.00 - $203,275.00. This range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements, or other law.
