Requirements

Must:
We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in the following areas: - A minimum of 8 years’ experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 10 years with an Associate's Degree, or 6 years with a Master's Degree. Alternatively, 12 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. - Experience as a Tier 2 system administrator, particularly with Exchange and Vault tools. - Proficiency in Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange 2016. - In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Vault solutions for managing active server storage. - Experience with Scripting/Automation using Exchange PowerShell or other scripting languages. - Ability to troubleshoot issues in a growing IT environment. - Strong time management skills and experience with IT Service Management/ticketing systems like ServiceNow. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Leadership and mentoring abilities to enhance team dynamics. - Proven record of working effectively within a team and supporting peers for process improvement. - Skills in incident triage, classification, and prioritizing work efforts. - Familiarity with planning, deploying, and documenting patch and configuration updates. - Knowledge of Disaster Recovery for High Availability in large environments. - Experience with log reviews, incident analysis, and identifying issue trends. - Familiarity with server patch management methodologies, ideally using SCCM. - Must meet DoD 8570.11 - IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP). - Due to the nature of our government contracts, U.S. Citizenship is required. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for the position, or TS/SCI and a willingness to obtain and maintain a polygraph.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will be responsible for: - Remotely logging into servers to perform technical software configuration, rebooting, and other necessary actions. - Providing implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring support for physical and virtual servers. - Quickly distinguishing isolated user problems from larger enterprise-wide issues. - Collaborating with peers and other service lanes to analyze network latency and improve user experience. - Collecting data, conducting analysis, and developing solutions for incident tickets and requirements. - Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive availability and capacity management system using best practices. - Preparing follow-up reports detailing technical findings, feedback, and resolution steps for root cause analysis and process improvement. - Supporting customer requirements in a 24/7/365 environment and being available for on-call support during after-hours outages. - Updating operations and monitoring documentation for our 24/7/365 Operations Watch personnel. - Managing issues related to group mailboxes and distribution lists, including designating group mailbox owners. - Operating and managing email routing devices and services (e.g., McAfee, Proofpoint, and Edge devices). - Administering and managing the Exchange Online system within an Office 365 hybrid/cloud environment. - Maintaining and troubleshooting email retention systems using Veritas Enterprise Vault. - Overseeing roles and services, user permissions, email queues, and dynamic distribution groups. - Implementing Exchange PowerShell for automation tasks.

The actual compensation will depend on various factors including responsibilities of the job, education level, experience, skills, and internal equity in the company.
