Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. - 7 years of experience in cloud data architecture, data engineering, Business Intelligence (BI), and enterprise data solutions. - In-depth and practical experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Data Lake) and Snowflake; experience with AWS is a plus. - Advanced expertise in Power BI, PowerApps, SSIS, SSAS (tabular and multidimensional models), with strong mastery in data modeling and performance optimization. - Knowledge of data governance frameworks, compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, etc.), and security best practices is a plus. - Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks is an advantage. - Proven ability to proactively manage data-related incidents, minimize disruptions, and implement resilient, scalable data solutions. - Excellent ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive strategic data initiatives at an enterprise level. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Result-oriented mindset with an understanding of urgency and prioritization of tasks. - Product expertise as a consultant to facilitate decision-making by communicating best practices or potential challenges. - Bilingual in French and English, as collaboration with resources outside of Quebec will be required.

Responsibilities

- Lead teams of engineers and data intelligence in developing scalable and high-performing data solutions while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices for service and operations management. - Design and implement end-to-end cloud data architectures using Azure Fabric, Snowflake, and other cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and process optimization. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate complex technical concepts into clear insights, ensuring IT services align with business strategies. - Manage multiple projects, effectively prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a high level of quality. Apply Agile principles and ITIL frameworks to ensure smooth project delivery and operational continuity. - Provide guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders on best practices and troubleshooting. Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning to improve team performance and adherence to the ITIL service lifecycle. - Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business leaders to create value-driven BI solutions and support decision-making processes. Ensure smooth integration and support of services in accordance with the company's service level agreements (SLAs). - Drive the implementation of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and performance optimization for efficient data solutions deployment. Collaborate on IT service continuity planning, change management, and incident management to ensure the availability and reliability of services. - Collaborate with management teams to guide the data strategy and ensure operational alignment with business objectives, optimizing IT service management processes.
