ML Infrastructure Engineer

Medical Device Engineers use our Software as a Service platform to build quality into their device development process. We’re experiencing rapid customer growth. We need your help to develop one of the world’s most advanced AI/ML cloud platforms On a given workday with the Greenlight team, you will: Work closely on a team in the design, development, provisioning, support and troubleshooting of multiple AWS cloud infrastructure environments, including R&D, development, and highly available pre-production environments Communicate with your team and other teams across the company with clear professional written and verbal communication skills using tools such as video conferencing, phone, Slack, and G-Suite. Actively monitor, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure through AWS Console, CLI, third party tools, and custom code. Evaluate, develop, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure through AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) in Python Design, develop, and automate processes around infrastructure support, testing, and product deployment. Regularly assess cloud infrastructure to recommend areas for improvement. Use Google Suite office tools and visual diagramming tools to generate and document resource inventories, service catalogs, and architectural diagrams. Research, understand and contribute to the creation of system support documents, operational procedures, and build recipes for cloud infrastructure. Manage code in git repositories and builds through CI/CD Pipelines Evaluate and recommend AWS services, machine images, and resource levels for existing and future cloud applications Great-fit candidates will: Have 5+ years of experience AWS cloud infrastructure supporting SaaS applications Have 5+ years of experience with Linux systems administration with a focus on deployment/configuration automation including Docker or Kubernetes Have 2+ year experience using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK Experience with AWS Code Commit, Code Build, and Code Pipeline Be fluent in Python 3+ and AWS automation tools Have a breadth of knowledge of various AWS infrastructure services, cloud services, virtual machines, cloud storage, databases, network, endpoints, and collaboration services.  Be a self-starter and capable of working closely on a team and independently Be able to work on multiple projects concurrently and balance conflicting demands. Have experience collaborate with other teams to: Share experience with specific services and technologies Operate the platform within our security and privacy guidelines Support audit and compliance processes We’ll be extra excited to talk to you if you have additional experience with: Jupyter Notebooks Property Graph databases (such as Neo4j) Named graphs and RDF datastores NoSQL Databases Lucene indexing systems (such as Elasticsearch) Past ML or Data Science Experience Other relevant languages such as Java, JS, TypeScript Experience with Data Science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, NLTK, etc This is a full-time, permanent position, either fully remote or based in our downtown Indianapolis HQ.
