Responsibilities

As a Senior Network Engineer supporting the JSP ETM-NG program, I will trust you to review and evaluate our information technology (IT) infrastructure and systems to ensure they adhere to our company and customer quality standards. Your typical day will involve: - Designing, planning, and building communication networks. - Configuring routers, switches, firewalls for LAN/WAN systems, and VPN concentrators with appropriate protocols. - Coordinating hardware/software improvements and enhancements for LAN/WAN. - Monitoring the network using industry-leading technologies. - Providing innovative methods and technical solutions utilizing the engineering design process. - Planning the implementation of network enhancements. - Analyzing customer requirements to provide technical solutions for a variety of complex problems. - Performing maintenance and upgrades on servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks. - Ensuring network integrity and compliance with policies, including system backup and recovery. - Coordinating hardware, software acquisitions, and subcontractor services as needed. - Creating plans and configuring communication networks. - Evaluating new communication technologies to enhance network capabilities. - Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. - Designing and building hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks. - Providing guidance and leadership to less-experienced network personnel.

I am seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This position requires a full-time onsite commitment, as telecommuting is not permitted. The likely salary range for this position is between $158,846 and $214,910, based on experience and geographic location.
