Requirements

Must:
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. - A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, along with a minimum of 8 years of application design and development experience is necessary. - At least 1 year of experience with AWS: EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, VPC. - Proficiency in DevOps CI/CD using technologies such as GitLab and Terraform is expected. - Experience in implementing cloud solutions is essential. - A solid understanding of Object-Oriented design methodologies and design patterns is required. - Containerization experience, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes, is desired. - Familiarity with Linux (Red Hat and CentOS) is required.

Responsibilities

As a Software Cloud Architect, I will: - Partner with my team to identify and analyze challenges, leveraging expertise to develop and optimize innovative Cloud-Based Solutions that address performance bottlenecks, enhance system scalability/data processing capabilities, and support seamless integration across mission-critical systems. - Lead cloud efforts utilizing AWS for scalability, availability, and reliability. - Optimize applications for on-demand release cycles while maintaining system reliability. - Support DevSecOps integration within Agile Kanban development teams. - Ensure compliance with zero trust security principles and federal IT security regulations. - Provide comprehensive guidance and update system architecture documentation to ensure accuracy of production systems. - Periodically audit existing systems infrastructure and architecture to ensure a high-level understanding of present capabilities.
