Senior Systems Administrator - TS/SCI Cleared

As a Systems Administrator, I maintain the workflows of our organization’s computer systems, ensuring the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems. My responsibilities include fixing network issues, updating equipment and software, creating and administering profiles and accounts, and maintaining systems documentation. I also tune system performance for optimal conditions and install system-wide software. In this Windows Systems Administrator role located in Arlington, VA, I support a small office of under 100 personnel, performing a range of Tier 1-3 responsibilities, among others as assigned. I also provide direct support to our on-site infrastructure and assist a dispersed team by delivering remote helpdesk support in a mixed physical/virtual Active Directory environment. My duties include: - Providing Tier I, II, and III system administration support - Monitoring authentication and errors on email, file, and print servers - Performing customer service tasks such as resetting and unlocking accounts - Setting up workstations for new employees - Assisting users with scanning and printing - Maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices - Managing Active Directory accounts, groups, and permissions - Providing video teleconferencing support across networks - Reporting network outages and monitoring trouble tickets I must work in a dynamic environment, collaborating effectively with DOD personnel and industry partners. Occasionally, I may need to travel locally or within the continental US.
