Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Network Administration.
- IAT Level II certification.
- One of the following Networking Certifications - Brocade, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP), Aruba.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge with Aruba networking systems.
- Must be willing to report onsite full-time.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Network Engineer supporting the JSP ETM-NG program, I will trust you to:
- Design, plan, and build communications networks.
- Configure routers and switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators while adhering to appropriate network engineering and communication protocols.
- Coordinate hardware and software improvements and/or enhancements for LAN/WAN systems.
- Monitor the network utilizing industry-leading technologies.
- Provide innovative methods and technical solutions using the engineering design process.
- Plan implementation of enhancements.
- Analyze customer requirements and deliver technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
- Maintain and upgrade networks, including servers, routers, switches, and remote access systems, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining backup and recovery capabilities.
- Coordinate the acquisition of hardware, software, and subcontractor services as necessary.
- Create plans and configure systems for data communication networks.
- Evaluate new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Design and build the hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks.
- Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced network personnel.
Description
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join us at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This position involves a day shift work schedule, with full-time onsite presence required.
Our likely salary range for this position is between $88,275 - $106,162 based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
