Responsibilities
We are seeking an O365 Integration Architect to support our Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract. This position involves a mix of remote (20%) and onsite (80%) support at either Crystal City, VA or Fort Meade, MD.
As an O365 Integration Architect, I will:
- Follow software development best practices to facilitate collaboration, feature enhancement, issue tracking, testing, development, and production deployment.
- Implement automation and other tasks using Power Platform, Azure App Services, PowerShell, APIs, etc.
- Utilize parameter-driven, declarative syntax models when possible for flexibility and simplicity.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and support release validation efforts will be essential.
- Provide top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth software systems programming and analysis.
- Design architectures to support both present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces, ensuring compatibility with DoD standards.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions led by the Enterprise Architecture team for application architecture and roadmap development.
- Present solution designs to stakeholders for input, buy-in, and sign-off, leading the development and implementation of complex IT solutions.
- Determine high-level functional and technical requirements based on user interactions and knowledge of enterprise architectures.
- Interact with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction.
- Develop software design documents, technology white papers, high-level system design diagrams, and documentation for testing.
- Be responsible for quality assurance reviews and evaluate existing and new software products.
Description
To succeed in this role, I need:
- A Bachelorโs Degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Active TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
- Current DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) IAT Level II (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, CND) certification.
- At least 2 years of experience with automation platforms and designing scalable solutions.
- Experience in designing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining custom applications for government clients.
- Expertise in programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience in cloud-native application development and MS Office 365 environments.
- Collaboration on configuration changes using a distributed revision control system (such as Git).
- Knowledge of automation with PowerShell Modules and Power Platform, along with Agile/Scrum software development management methods.
Desired Skills:
- Implementing Policy as Code (PaC) using platforms like Ansible, Terraform, M365DSC.
- Automating tenant configurations using Microsoft 365-related API endpoints.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Management Interfaces.
