Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- 7+ years of Windows Server and Systems Administration experience
- Experience updating and deploying Virtual Desktop Templates and Images
- Proficient in maintaining and updating Windows images with a solid understanding of VDI
- Familiarity with installation, operation, configuration, and maintenance of various business and end user-specific application software in a large government environment
- Understanding of technical support applications, concepts, practices, and procedures
- Required Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
- Education: BS/BA Degree
- US Citizenship required
Responsibilities
- Administer, manage, and maintain Windows 2019 and 2022 servers
- Update and deploy Virtual Desktop Templates and Images, which is a core function of this role
- Create, update, and maintain baseline Windows images including VDI
- Ensure Windows Server patching in an operational environment
- Manage Domain controllers, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS servers, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects
- Utilize PowerShell scripting for tasks as needed
- Monitor system networks and resources
- Analyze, troubleshoot, resolve, and document problems with business applications and hardware across all enclaves
- Deploy DISA STIGs controls and ensure system compliance
- Review and mitigate ACAS vulnerability scan findings
- Oversee system recovery mechanisms
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to independently resolve issues
- Coordinate, communicate, and escalate required changes and major issues
- Diagnose and resolve system/server-related problems
- Respond to technical support requests via phone calls and email

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) comprises over 2,200 personnel, with 700 stationed at Headquarters and the remainder at offices worldwide. NCIS is the Department of Navy (DON) component primarily responsible for criminal investigation, law enforcement, counter-terrorism, counterintelligence, and cyber matters.
