Responsibilities
As a Help Desk Analyst Tier II, I will initiate and resolve service request/problem incidents. I will consult with the user community to address technical problems and answer queries via telephone or self-service ticket, supporting internal and/or external customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. Using my problem-solving skills, I will diagnose, isolate, and analyze issues by utilizing historical database records. Additionally, I will route calls to product line specialists or system support specialists, maintain and update records and tracking databases, and alert management to recurring problems and patterns. I will collaborate with system administrators and developers to ensure services and incidents are completed while also providing an outstanding customer service experience across all organizational levels.
Description
We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst Tier II to join our IT Technology Development division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is responsible for criminal investigation, law enforcement, counter-terrorism, counterintelligence, and cyber matters within the Department of the Navy.
To succeed in this role, you will need an active Secret clearance and must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance. You should have 5+ years of IT support experience in a Help Desk environment, with experience in Cisco switches and routers. A Security+ CE certification is required, along with a High School Diploma (AAS preferred). This position will be onsite at Quantico, VA, and US citizenship is required.
