Requirements
Must:
- An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with 8 years of application design and development experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Java.
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and support production user-facing applications and backend software to support mission objectives.
- I will provide ongoing development, maintenance, support, and software enhancements for existing systems and platforms.
- I will troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for software systems and application issues.
- I will make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- I will work alongside other engineers to sustain and advance our organization’s capabilities.

In this role, I will develop highly efficient Microservices on a Linux operating system using Java and Kotlin, specifically for high-volume data-processing applications managed through Docker/Kubernetes. I will also employ modern Agile methodologies. Technologies I will work with include Microservices, AWS, Java 21, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kotlin, ReactJS, Spring Boot, and Postgres, along with tools such as Maven, Node, GitLab, SonarQube, VSCode, and IntelliJ.
