- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Secret - Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph - Suitability: None - Job Family: Information Security - Skills: Information Security, Information Systems, Information Systems Security Management - Experience: 8+ years of related experience - US Citizenship Required: Yes - Additional Education: Master’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (6 years) - Certifications: Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level III within 6 months of the date of hire. - Security Clearance: Current Secret Clearance - Must be familiar with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration. - Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

As the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) III, my primary function is to organize, install, and support the government organization’s computer systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems. I will help with architecting, designing, and analyzing network models, and participate in decision-making regarding the purchase of future hardware or software to upgrade our infrastructure. I will also provide technical support to computer users to solve any issues they may have. My day-to-day responsibilities include: - Leading the IT operations team on the management and operations of networks while implementing capabilities vetted through Cybersecurity, ISSE, and higher headquarters. - Managing COTS and GOTS products to collect and display security metrics and ensure system operations/performance. - Assisting during security assessments of servers and network devices. - Creating operational Operations and Maintenance (O&M) checklists and building Tactics, Techniques, and Processes (TTPs) and Standard Operating Processes (SOPs). - Managing monitoring tools/capabilities with the enterprise security information and event management (SIEM). - Executing cybersecurity operations procedures for day-to-day network management. - Analyzing the output of cybersecurity-related tools for security incidents and residual risk. - Collaborating with team members to integrate new techniques to improve network/system security.

I understand that the likely salary range for this position is between $122,366 - $161,690, depending on experience, geographic location, and potentially contractual requirements. The work location for this position is Colorado Springs, USA, with an expected travel requirement of 10-25%. I will work on-site with a scheduled weekly work time of 40 hours.
