- U.S. Citizenship Required: Yes - Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph - Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline - Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience - Preferred Technical Skills: - Strong technical skills and analytic abilities - Experience performing system security analysis and risk management - Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) security - Experience analyzing test results and suggesting mitigations for security issues - Experience with Linux and virtual platforms - Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active polygraph - Preferred Certifications: - CompTIA Security+ - Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) - Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) - AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP) - Microsoft Azure - Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Responsibilities

As an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), I am committed to ensuring that today is safe and that tomorrow is smarter. My primary responsibilities include: - Collaborating with the program security team to manage all aspects of security. - Providing expert-level knowledge and execution regarding the Risk Management Framework and NIST SP 800-53 HHM systems through the A&A process. - Constructing comprehensive security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms). - Identifying security controls and working with engineering and testing staff to develop appropriate test plans and procedures. - Implementing security audit reviews to verify the collection and review of audit records. - Coordinating security testing exercises alongside external assessment teams and technical staff. - Configuring and supporting various AWS services to ensure system security.

The likely salary range for this position is $157,817 - $213,517, although actual compensation may vary based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
