Responsibilities
As a Help Desk Technician, I will provide technical support and troubleshooting for network, desktop, and systems hardware and software. I will resolve technical problems and answer queries via telephone or self-service tickets in support of internal and external customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. My duties will also include:
- Diagnosing, identifying, isolating, and analyzing problems through historical database records.
- Routing calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists as needed.
- Maintaining and updating records and tracking databases, and alerting management to recurring problems and patterns.
