Responsibilities
As an Active Directory Systems Engineer at GDIT, I will:
- Utilize my troubleshooting skills with Active Directory Infrastructure, Azure AD, Group Policies, DNS, PKI, Microsoft PowerShell, and Windows Server (2008R2, 2012, and 2016) as well as Windows 10.
- Architect and engineer enterprise-level solutions.
- Quickly understand complex topologies and interdependencies across a wide range of technologies, specifically within 2012 or later forest/domains and complex group policy architecture.
- Engage in analytical and creative problem-solving for the creation and maintenance of software systems.
- Work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments with time-sensitive requirements.
- Manage project technical aspects, including coordination with technical support staff.
- Conduct research and provide solutions for complex system requirements.
- Provide technical consultation on existing and proposed systems to other organizations and clients.
- Participate in planning and performing analytical research conforming to design, engineering, and customer specifications.
- Be available for after-hours support and on-call situations.
Description
To succeed in this role, I will have a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. A security clearance level of TS/SCI with Polygraph is required, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. This position requires on-site work, and I must be a U.S. citizen.

The predicted salary range for this position is between $102,000 and $138,000, depending on experience, location, and contractual requirements.
