We prefer candidates with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree focused on healthcare, business, or information systems. You should possess the ability to present complex data in meaningful ways, such as charts and graphs. Responsibilities
As the Application System Analyst Senior, I will serve as a liaison between our system end-users, operational leaders, support resources, and vendors to design, build, and optimize applications in a timely and high-quality manner. I will provide application support and optimization, working closely with the Service Desk to respond to service requests. My role will involve analyzing business issues, requirements, and workflows to apply application knowledge that meets operational and organizational needs.
I will be responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, documenting, educating, implementing, supporting, and maintaining or optimizing assigned applications and business processes. This includes leading quality assurance and testing initiatives and managing testing projects as necessary. I will tackle new problems using creative problem-solving skills and apply an advanced level of understanding of assigned clinical and business operations. Additionally, I will lead and evaluate process and requirements analysis, maintain collaborative customer relationships, and ensure customer needs are fully represented in project updates.
I will contribute to strategy discussions by identifying options with their pros and cons, demonstrate superior judgment, and adhere to organizational standards for system configuration and change control. It’s crucial that I understand the complex requirements of end users and project goals and can propose technical solutions accordingly. I will collaborate with operational leaders to create efficient and optimal workflow processes and will coordinate code changes with vendors regarding financial and business application issues.
I will also share industry best practices with operational leaders, continuously grow my technical knowledge of the assigned applications, and serve as a liaison between business operations, internal teams, and vendors. Following strict change management processes is essential, as is delivering quality work that exceeds project management expectations and managing medium to large scale and complex projects independently.
Description
This is a full-time position. I must ensure that the services I provide contribute to the successful accomplishment of the primary mission of our department. Occasionally, I may be required to travel to perform my duties or work additional hours during critical problems. Additionally, I will assist in preparing and conducting training sessions for users and co-workers. It’s my goal to proactively identify opportunities and plan projects within my application responsibilities, while also performing other duties as assigned.
