Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
- 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and present technical solutions to a diverse set of stakeholders, including senior business leaders, analysts, IT management, and developers.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP).
- Familiarity with software development or internet-related industries.
- Experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Proficiency with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
- Background in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
- Professional experience architecting, deploying, or operating solutions built on AWS.
- Understanding of Federal Government security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy aimed at exceeding revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
- Act as a key member of the business development and sales team, ensuring success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and engage in in-depth architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment in the cloud.
- Conduct training sessions to share knowledge with customers considering or currently using AWS.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
- Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers or other reusable content.
- Build strong relationships with senior technical personnel at customer organizations to enable them to become cloud advocates.
- Serve as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
