Requirements
Must:
We require that the selected candidate has U.S. citizenship. The ideal candidate will possess a BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or another technical degree, or have 3+ years of equivalent technology experience. Additionally, we expect a minimum of 3 years' experience in three or more of the following areas: incident response, application security, network security, security operations, or network engineering, with at least two years of experience on a Security Operations team coordinating responses to security incidents. Practical experience using industry-standard SIEMs, particularly ElasticSearch, and familiarity with security operations in Windows and Linux environments is essential. Experience working with AWS security services such as AWS Security Hub and Amazon GuardDuty is also necessary.
Responsibilities
As a Security Engineer focused on the Controlled Working Environment (CWE) program, I will rely on you to confidently and intelligently respond to security incidents and proactively work to prevent future occurrences. You will design and coordinate cohesive responses to security events involving multiple teams across the organization. I expect you to build security utilities and tools that enable our team to operate at high speed and scale. Furthermore, you'll evaluate the impact of current security threats and advisories, keeping communication open across teams to mitigate risks effectively. It's also crucial that you recognize and adopt best practices in security engineering throughout the organization and fulfill regular on-call responsibilities.
