Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
- The selected candidate must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Responsibilities
At Amazon, we offer engineers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within our Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Regions. Your day-to-day tasks will include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing production software issues using various programming languages such as Typescript, Python, Bash, and Ruby. You will be developing tools, automation, and monitoring solutions to reduce manual toil and improve operational excellence. Furthermore, you'll be involved in designing new systems, reviewing code, performing design reviews, and contributing to organization-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing the builder experience. As part of our AS2E team, you will have the chance to automate repetitive tasks, influence partner teams, impact team goals, optimize our processes, make technical decisions, and independently resolve complex challenges.

We are part of the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Security Systems Engineering (AS2E) team, which provides operational support for security services across US ADC Regions. We're focused on enhancing operational health and minimizing manual toil for these services through high-impact and high-visibility projects.

Our remuneration reflects labor costs in various US geographic markets, with base pay ranging from $116,300 to $201,200 per year, depending on your skills and market location. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including equity, sign-on bonuses, and medical benefits.
