Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 3 years of technical infrastructure management experience.
- You should have at least 3 years of experience managing projects in a Data Center or Networking environment.
- A fundamental understanding of Data Center IT Infrastructure is necessary.
- I expect you to be able to write clear and detailed functional specifications.
- Experience working with or managing technical portfolios, programs, or projects is essential.
Responsibilities
- I need you to write effective project charters based on business requirements for medium to large scale projects.
- You will work with stakeholders including networking engineers, tech program managers, senior management, design engineers, and operational deployment teams to define requirements and processes.
- You are responsible for managing the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiating trade-offs if needed.
- I would like you to provide regular program progress reporting.
- You will take end-to-end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
- You're expected to manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
- Developing and implementing scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions will be part of your role.
- Keeping the customer experience as the primary focus is essential.
- You should meet or exceed Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.

The AWS Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team is looking for a passionate and talented technical program manager to lead prototype engagements. You will engage in discovery through the deployment of commercially ready processes used for new technology deployments globally. In this role, you will also lead programs with partner teams in defining prototype deployment trials and strategic planning. You will need to communicate proactively, ensuring alignment with our internal customers regarding execution, management of defects, and rapid delivery in an agile environment.
