Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in server technologies such as thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.
- A Master's degree in mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with the project management of technical projects is a plus.
Responsibilities
- As a member of the Hardware Engineering Mechanical/Thermal/Robotics (MTR) Engineering team, I will be responsible for designing our server platforms.
- I will provide leadership in applying new cooling and mechanical technologies to large-scale server deployments to enhance customer experience.
- I will conduct failure analysis and solution validation for product development and fleet systems.
- I will manage interactions with overseas resources and provide mentorship and technical reviews to a team of mechanical/thermal design engineers.
- My work will involve using engineering tools (CAD and thermal simulation), data analysis, meetings, test report reviews, design reviews, and effective communication.
