Requirements
Must:
- I have at least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- I possess 2 or more years of experience in design or architecture (including design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- I have programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- (Preferred) I have 3 or more years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- (Preferred) I hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
Responsibilities
I am excited to develop new services and features while writing and building infrastructure-as-code. I will design systems, address availability, performance, and capacity issues, and help operate our global service, running it end-to-end. My tasks will include performing data analysis to optimize our products and enhancing our operational quality. I will troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues by developing automation for infrastructure build-outs, implementing monitoring solutions, maintaining and configuring software, and addressing interesting technical challenges with my knowledge of Ruby, Java, and JavaScript. Additionally, I will serve as a technical mentor for other engineers.
